NuScope Psychology Brisbane provides psychological services for adolescents and adults, including individual therapy and ADHD assessment.

We work closely with our clients to deliver evidence-based assessments and interventions according to current best practice protocols.

    Therapy

    Psychological and counselling services are available both via Telehealth and in person at our Brisbane clinic.

    Assessment

    We offer comprehensive assessments for ADHD and Autism, available for adolescents and adults aged 12 and older.

 Fees and Rebates

  • Psychological Services

    Assessment consultations cost $250 per hour.

    - Medicare does not offer rebates for assessment costs.

    The fee for a 50-minute psychology consultation is $230.

    - Medicare rebates are accepted with a valid GP referral.

  • Counselling Services

    The fee for an appointment with our registered counsellor is $150. 

Clients who are referred by a doctor and have a Mental Health Care Plan are able to claim a Medicare rebate of $96.65 per session for up to 10 psychology consultations a year (January-December).  Reports to your doctor are a Medicare requirement. 

Additional funding options include WorkCover Queensland, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and NDIS. NDIS-funded therapeutic supports, including assistance with daily living skills, individual counselling, and capacity building.

Confidentiality and Privacy

All information you provide is strictly confidential in accordance with APS guidelines unless the information has been subpoenaed or authorised by law; it places you or another person at serious risk; your prior approval has been obtained. Medicare Better Access also requires that psychologists write a brief report to your referring GP throughout the course of treatment. Privacy ensures that all personal information is confidential and stored securely for the duration that the information is required to be kept on file.

Telehealth services and in-person appointments are available Monday - Thursday.  Please feel welcome to send through questions before you book if you need more information. We are located at Level 2, 91 Commercial Road in Teneriffe, QLD.
