How our Brisbane ADHD Psychologists & Counsellors can help:

Our team can help with:

Adult ADHD testing
Adult ADHD diagnosis
ADHD management plans
ADHD & trauma informed care

Diagnosis

To diagnose ADHD, we conduct a comprehensive assessment using evidence-based tools such as standardised tests, structured interviews, and questionnaires. Following the assessment, we provide a detailed report that includes a diagnosis (if applicable) and tailored recommendations.

Assessments are available in-person at our Brisbane clinic or via Telehealth. Please note: We do not prescribe medication; this must be managed by a psychiatrist.

Support & Ongoing Management

We offer tailored therapy to help individuals manage ADHD symptoms in everyday life. Our ADHD psychologists and counsellors work with you to develop practical strategies for improving motivation, focus, organisation, time management, and emotional regulation. Therapy is personalised and supportive—designed to build long-term resilience, boost confidence, and help you better understand your unique neurotype.

Treatment for Co-Occurring Mental Health Conditions

ADHD often coexists with mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression. At NuScope Psychology, we provide comprehensive treatment that addresses both ADHD and these co-occurring conditions. Our experienced clinicians collaborate with you to develop effective strategies for managing symptoms and enhancing overall mental wellbeing.

Trauma-Informed Therapy

For many individuals with ADHD, the ongoing challenges of navigating a neurotypical world can lead to experiences of emotional distress and trauma. Repeated misunderstandings, criticism, and the need to mask symptoms may contribute to the development of negative self-beliefs and long-term psychological impacts.

Our clinicians work collaboratively with you to explore these experiences, using evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) to process past painful memories, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you relate differently to difficult thoughts and emotions, guided by your values and inspiring meaningful action.

Therapy is tailored to support both ADHD management and emotional healing, promoting resilience, self-awareness, and long-term wellbeing.
